Estratégias terapêuticas para o enfrentamento de disfunções sexuais em mulheres: revisão sistemática

Objetivo: identificar estratégias terapêuticas para o enfrentamento de disfunções sexuais em mulheres. Método: revisão sistemática, conduzida nas bases LILACS, PubMed/MEDLINE e EMBASE, e na Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde, com foco nas estratégias terapêuticas para disfunções sexuais em mulheres adultas. O recorte temporal para a identificação dos trabalhos foi de janeiro de 2013 a setembro de 2023, sendo excluídos da busca artigos de revisões da literatura, estudos de caso, trabalhos de conclusão de curso e relatos de experiência. Resultados: foram encontrados 1.373 trabalhos, mas após a leitura completa dos mesmos e aplicação dos critérios de elegibilidade, compuseram a amostra 40 artigos, com 10.808 mulheres. As principais queixas que levaram às disfunções sexuais foi a dispareunia e secura vulvovaginal. As estratégias terapêuticas mais comuns foram tratamentos a base de estrógeno ou fitoestrógenos, hormonioterapia, neuromoduladores, fisioterapia do assoalho pélvico, cremes hidratantes ou lubrificantes vaginais. Conclusão: diferentes estratégias têm sido empregadas para o tratamento de disfunções sexuais, com destaque àquelas com estrógeno. Mais investigações que considerem tratamentos personalizados e terapias não-farmacológicas precisam ser incentivas.
