A VIABILIDADE DA UTILIZAÇÃO DE TECNOLOGIA NO COMBATE À VIOLÊNCIA DOMÉSTICA CONTRA MULHERES DURANTE A PANDEMIA

Abstract

In 2020, the world was surprised by a deadly and completely unknown virus, a situation that led to a catastrophic pandemic. Therefore, this article discusses the negative reflexes caused by the event, keeping in focus a theme already widely known: domestic violence. In addition, we will discuss the feasibility of the measures that have been adopted to combat the increase in this index, specifically with regard to the use of technology. To this end, we will expose several of the measures adopted and their strengths and weaknesses, in order, through equalization, to reach the conclusion of which of these would be the best measure to be taken.

Finally, we will raise pertinent questions about the theme and its real effectiveness in the day-to-day lives of women who suffer domestic violence.

Leisa Boreli Prizon, Unaerp

Possui graduação em direito pela Universidade de Ribeirão Preto (1999) e mestrado em Direito pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (2008). Atualmente é assistente Coordenação da Universidade de Ribeirão Preto e professora da Universidade de Ribeirão Preto em Criminologia e Direito Penal.

Genival Torres Dantas Junior

Defensor Público do Estado de São Paulo atuante na área criminal na Comarca de Ribeirão Preto. Professor de Direito Penal, Processo Penal e Criminologia da Universidade de Ribeirão Preto. Membro do Conselho da Comunidade da Comarca de Ribeirão Preto. Desde março de 2020 coordena e organiza juntamente com os docentes Bruno César da Silva e Leisa Borelli Prizon e alunos da UNAERP o grupo de pesquisa com o tema: "Criminologia e Violência de Gênero" .
