Intervenções para o manejo da ansiedade pré-operatória em pacientes com neoplasia cerebral: revisão integrativa

Objetivo: Identificar as intervenções utilizadas no manejo da ansiedade de pacientes na fase pré-operatória de cirurgia de neoplasia cerebral. Método: Revisão integrativa, realizada nas bases de dados Embase, Lilacs, PubMed/MEDLINE, Scielo, Scopus e Web of Science, em fevereiro de 2024. Os critérios de elegibilidade incluíram estudos completos, publicados nos últimos 10 anos e disponíveis gratuitamente, em inglês, português ou espanhol. Foram excluídos os estudos que não se concentraram na fase pré-operatória e que incluíram população abaixo de 16 anos. Resultados: Foram encontrados um total de 7.738 artigos, sendo incluídos apenas 10 artigos na amostra final. As principais intervenções encontradas foram categorizadas em farmacológicas – flupirtina e pregabalina; e não farmacológicas – cuidados holísticos, acupuntura, intervenção musical, realidade virtual, enfermagem perioperatória, comunicação médico-paciente e abordagem centrada no paciente. Conclusão: Diferentes intervenções vêm sendo utilizadas para o manejo da ansiedade pré-operatória em pacientes com neoplasia cerebral, com destaque para as não farmacológicas, que tem tido maior adesão e apoio devido ao custo-benefício, por serem minimamente invasivas e apresentarem baixo risco de efeitos adversos. Ainda assim, novas pesquisas são necessárias para ampliar as opções de intervenções com esta população.
