Objective: To identify, through the analysis of empirical data, the social impact of Covid-19, seeking to verify which sectors of society were affected and, in a more specific analysis, the impacts of the pandemic and the legal measures taken specifically regarding access to justice. Methods: This is a literature review, with qualitative data analysis. Data were found in different databases and through the gray literature. All works were categorized into thematic axes to improve the discussion. Results: The digital expansion to enable the continuity of activities in the most acute periods of the pandemic ended up not initially contemplating the digitally excluded, with the need for course correction by the National Council of Justice. Conclusions: It is necessary to identify the obstacles and seek the appropriate means to overcome them, so that the Judiciary maintains its essential role as guardian of human rights and civil liberties, fulfilling its mission of guaranteeing effective access to the Justice.
