Abstract

This work has as main objective to analyze the conditions of the teaching professional and, in particular, the conditions of his retirement. Evaluates the conditions of the work environment and the illnesses resulting from it, the social security rules related to teachers, from colony Brazil to the 2019 Pension Reform, highlighting the special characteristics of the profession and the need for special rules that protect teachers at the end of their professional life. It is concluded that the guarantees offered to teachers and the reformulations of social security legislation have harmed and discouraged new generations and current professionals to promote the improvement of the condition of the teaching professional.
