DA ARQUITETURA HOSTIL E GRUPOS VULNERABILIZADOS URBANOS: UMA QUESTÃO DE CIDADANIA
Keywords:
cidadania, políticas públicas, arquitetura hostil, grupos vulnerabilizadosAbstract
The hostile architecture, as a mechanism used to control the public environment based on its aesthetic modification, can transmit human symbology, generally linked to fear and insecurity in the urban environment. Thus, the present work of bibliographic review carried out by the hypothetical-deductive method, has as general objective to analyze the way in which the hostile architecture can be used as a violator of citizenship. To achieve the proposed objective, the concept of hostile architecture was approached, visualizing its grotesque character, passing through the appreciation of the violation of citizenship from the presentation of real examples that occurred within Brazilian society, whose aesthetics can be measured in the greatest Brazilian capitals, such as São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte and Curitiba. In the end, it was understood that several aesthetic alterations in the same environment can transmit the feeling of not belonging to vulnerable groups, such as the homeless and beggars, reflecting in fact the selection of those who do or do not have the right to enjoy the city and of its attributes.
