LA CUARTA REVOLUCIÓN INDUSTRIAL: UN ANÁLISIS DESDE LA AUTOMATIZACIÓN Y SU IMPACTO EN LA SEGURIDAD SOCIAL

Abstract

Automation and robotization as an expression of the fourth industrial revolution have already generated a polarization in the field of labor relations by the proposing changes in the forms of work. However, even though some maintain that the loss of jobs is inevitable and others that new forms of work will emerge, both positions recognize the disappearance of jobs in various productive sectors.

In this context, this article aims to develop to what extent the changes of the new industry can impact the field of social security, starting from the "labour" nature of the current social protection systems, to propose what support measures can be adopted, for the protection of social security in the face of new forms of employment.
