TEJIENDO REDES DE SALUD PÚBLICA EN UN MUNDO EN MOVIMIENTO
Abstract
In the Ibero-American context, migration represents a significant challenge for Social Security and public health systems. To address these challenges, it is essential to develop inclusive policies and practices that consider the specific needs of migrant populations. This includes training healthcare professionals in cultural competencies, implementing mental health programs, and creating more accessible and equitable health systems. Only through a comprehensive, multidisciplinary, and collaborative approach can adequate and sufficient social protection be guaranteed for all, including migrants.
