Abstract

Over the last few years, society has evolved its thoughts on individual freedom, especially with regard to the feminine. Little had to be represented in theaters, when there was, the woman was, in most cases, hypersexualized, requiring a change in the way she was portrayed. This research analyzed these changes that occurred in their representations in recent works, focusing on the superheroines, Wonder Woman and Captain Marvel. From previous bibliographical research, the Case Study was used as methodology, observing the idealization of the base product and how they were readapting in recent transmedia placements.
