FREEDOM: FOUNDATION OF THE INFORMATION PRINCIPLE
Abstract
Freedom is the fundamental principle of the Democratic State, guaranteed explicitly by the 1988 Constitution. Furthermore, freedom is a very indispensable civilized human value. It is discussed in this article the existence of the information fundamental principle, where both the support are confirmed by the principle of freedom. Thought the deductive method, it’s demonstrated that from the principle of freedom results countless principles linked to the rigth to freedom, such as: the right to information and freedom of speech. The theorical framework is the Law 12.527, of November 2011, known as the Access to Information Law. The bibliographic research’s based on a critical-reflexive approach on the subject.
