INTERVENTION WITH AUTHORS ON DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN: THE PROJECT EXPERIENCE PARALLELS - MAKING NEW PATHS

Abstract

The article presents the accountability of male perpetrators of domestic violence against women through programs of reflection and re-education of aggressors, with normative support in international and domestic documents, as a suitable measure to protect women and, at the same time, provide the reduction of domestic and family violence, highlighting the social and legal relevance of the initiative, which was recently altered by the Maria da Penha Law. It explores the emergence of the initiative in the world and in the country, with special emphasis on the reflexive group of the Paralelas Project, developed by the Public Ministry in the interior of the State of Mato Grosso do Sul. benchmark for the indicators collected. The work used a deductive method, with bibliographical, documental and data research.
