The Contemporary State, characterized by complex constitutions and directed towards the realization of fundamental rights, has in public policies its main axis of operation and, consequently, of analysis to identify the fulfillment of its political commitments and governmental strategic planning.. In this context, this article aims to explore the existing relationships between Law and public policy monitoring and evaluation instruments, based on the Law and Public Policy approach, in order to bridge these fields of knowledge and identify the existing connections that enable more appropriate investigative analyses of the complexity involved. The technique of literature review is adopted, using a qualitative approach.
