ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI): KEY TO THE FUTURE?

The article seeks to analyze the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) and new technologies on society, with special attention to the changes these innovations bring to the legal field. It discusses how technological advancement, as a transformer of daily life and social relations, presents both opportunities and significant challenges. AI, originating from computing and designed to simulate human intelligence, is redefining practices within the legal sphere, promoting a profound review in the way of creating, interpreting, and applying legal rules. The article addresses the duality of technology: its ability to improve access to justice and the efficiency of judicial processes, while also raising questions about privacy, ethics, and the potential for replacing human judgment with automated decisions. Furthermore, the importance of a balance between the use of AI tools and the protection of fundamental rights is emphasized, highlighting the need for AI regulation that respects human values and ensures dignity and justice.
