VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF VICTIMOLOGY
Abstract
This document serves as a primitive to understand the importance of inquiring about violence against women, however, basing the situation from a victim perspective. At first, we sought to address the victim's view of the female figure, in addition to knowing what the primary purpose of this science is, which, although not new, still has a lot to evolve to reach the peak of full understanding in understanding being a victim, essentially, in the case of women. Therefore, embracing the historical context has become essential, since it is a premise to understand what we have today as a legacy of the feminist revolution and the endless struggle for the benefit of their rights. Finally, this historical emblem was framed in a current perspective, in which not only machismo is faced, but also a Covid-19 pandemic, which made women victims of aggression, enslaved, slaughtered and abused by their partners at home.
