This study aims to engage in a discussion about the right to health for Indigenous peoples in Brazil. To achieve this objective, we engage with literature and relate it to events in Brazilian history that generally marginalize Indigenous peoples, denying them basic rights. Methodologically, this is a bibliographical and hypothetical-deductive study that seeks to answer the following question: Does Brazilian Indigenous policy guarantee the right to health with intercultural assumptions? Upon completion of this study, we believe that interculturality should permeate practices that seek to realize the right to health for Indigenous peoples, as it is fundamental to respecting different cultures and living with dignity.
