The research brought some discussions on the economic and political integration manifested in Europe after the Second World War, and the difficulties of recognizing in Latin America the Community Law. The objective of the research focuses on answering the following question: The current situation that requires countries to greater regional integration allows the advancement of social welfare policies with the protection of social security? The method used was the hypothetical-deductive, with an approach based on descriptive and exploratory analysis through bibliographical research.
