Abstract

In this scientific article will be analyzed the provision brought by Law no. 13.484, of September 26, 2017, and also Provision No. 66/2018 of the CNJ, more precisely as to the function and territorial scope of the Civil Registry Offices. This study will focus on the analysis of the fundamental rights to nationality and citizenship. The correlation of how the Civil Registry Offices, which are already the original tool for acquiring these rights, will serve as an effective tool in their concretion, since it would make it easy for the the exercise of nationality and citizenship. For this, the analysis of its concepts and procedures, its characteristics and functions will be done. Analyzing also the consequences and legal effects of the transformation of Civil Registry Offices in Citizen Offices.
