The present article intends to demonstrate that the non-availability of the jurisdictional decisions of the Social Security Appeals Council violates the Law on Access to Information. The article will also demonstrate that a change in culture is essential in the CRPS, since transparency has become a fundamental principle of the democratic state of law, the Administrative Court of Social Security must adapt its practices for access to information. In order to achieve the objectives outlined in the article, an exploratory research will be used on the CRPS website to verify how it provides access to its jurisdictional decisions for interested parties. After carrying out the aforementioned data collection, a comparison will be made with the principles and rules of the Law on Access to Information - Law nº 12.527/11. The conclusion will account for a huge democratic deficit in terms of access to CRPS jurisdictional decisions and will present some measures that can be taken to solve the problem.
