STRUCTURAL RACISM FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF POLICE ACTIVITY AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE
STRUCTURAL RACISM FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF POLICE ACTIVITY AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE
Abstract
ABSTRACT
The inferior treatment to which blacks are subjected remains demonstrated today, and causes us even greater repudiation when we start to see that racism, although covered with a historical struggle and legal advances, is widely ingrained in society, encompassing since the police activity to the Courts.
The purpose of this article is to highlight delicate issues involving the aforementioned theme, in order to show how fragile and misunderstood black people can be before the police and the judiciary by the color of their skin, in order to promote the necessary criticism to all the flawed system and inequality that these people are subject to.
