Abstract

The process of conquering women's human rights is long, violent and continuous, since Brazil - like most societies worldwide, is a country plagued by patriarchy, which is the basis for the multiple forms of violence by women. which women are subjected throughout their existence. In this sense, this article aims to analyze the scenario of health and humanitarian crisis evidenced by the Covid-19 pandemic, especially from the perspective of the growing context of violence suffered by women in this period in which health is at risk. Following this idea, one wonders how violence against women was constituted in patriarchal Brazil, as well as how they continue to be fed back through the various stimuli to which we are all routinely exposed as a patriarchal society? For its development, the research uses the hypothetical deductive method, based on consultation with data and theoretical references that deal with the theme. Finally, it appears that the functioning of patriarchal Brazil contributes to the maintenance of violence against women in the country, concluding that only education for gender equality is able to mitigate the problem, especially in the context of health of the woman.
